Andrew H. Marks

Andrew H. Marks, a native New Yorker, has been involved with Lighthouse Guild for over 25 years as a board member. A Risk Management and Insurance Executive for over 50 years, after graduating from Yale in 1961, he started at Schiff Terhune, which merged with Reed Stenhouse, and then Alexander and Alexander (now AON) in 1985. He set up his own firm, MLW Services, in 1986, which was bought by Bollinger, a large regional insurance brokerage in 2006, which merged with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the third largest firm in the industry in 2014. He remains as Area Senior Executive Vice President of Gallagher.

Mr. Marks is on the board of Breakthrough New York, which works with middle and high school students to prepare them for higher education. He served on the board of the Town School in New York City. He is a board member of The Harmonie Club and a member of The Yale Club of New York.

He lives in New York and East Hampton with his wife Terri.
